Information We Collect
To provide a seamless productivity environment across devices, we collect and process the following categories of information:
- Account & Authentication Data: When you connect your Google Account, we receive basic profile credentials including your full name, email address, and profile picture URL.
- User Productivity Content: Tasks, subtasks, notes, project bugs, client invoices, DSA subject progress, habit completion logs, and custom research notes created within the application.
- Calendar Sync Data: Time slots, event titles, start/end dates, color tags, and meeting links synchronized through the Google Calendar integration.

Google API & OAuth Limited Use Disclosure
Orbit's integration with Google APIs (Google OAuth 2.0 and Google Calendar API) adheres strictly to the Google API Service User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements:
- We only request access to scopes necessary for calendar event viewing and editing (e.g.
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar). - Google user data is not transferred to third parties unless necessary to provide or improve productivity features, or as required by law.
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements, training AI models, or building user marketing profiles.
Storage, Encryption & Data Security
We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to secure your personal data:
Edge Infrastructure & Encryption
Cloud database operations execute on Cloudflare Workers and D1 distributed databases. All traffic is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest with standard AES-256 encryption.
Offline-First Browser Cache
Data is stored locally in your browser via IndexedDB and Zustand store hydration, allowing offline productivity access while safeguarding against internet disruptions.

We do not sell or rent your data. We share information only with trusted service providers necessary to deliver our services:
Your Data Rights, Export & Deletion
Regardless of your jurisdiction, Orbit grants all users complete control over their personal information:
Data Portability (Export)
You can export your complete workspace database (tasks, goals, projects, notes) into a standard JSON file at any time via the Settings page.
Right to Erasure (Delete)
You have the absolute right to purge all local storage, IndexedDB caches, and server records by requesting full data deletion in Settings.
